No such thing as no time

As I begin to write this blog post, I have given myself only 10 minutes to quickly finish it because I’ve got to quickly eat my lunch then head over to my assignment. I basically have half an hour.

You know, I hate rushing. I mean, who doesn’t right? But I told myself this morning that I’d squeeze in one short blogpost before I forget and the same thing happens over the next few days.

Sometimes you just need to force yourself to make the time.

We always procrastinate, well I’m always procrastinating for sure (I only just drafted my interview questions! Haha), but there comes a point where we need to cut the fuss and just get to doing it.

I have a lot of those moments. Always procrastinating doing this, meeting this person, running that errand, pursuing that, not pursuing this.

“Gosh I’m so busy. I don’t have time lah!” classic excuse every modern urban person has to give. I know because people have given me this excuse a hundred times, and I have given it back to them too.

Life’s too short for lame excuses of “I’m busy”. Yes, yes there is so much to do. I know it’s not fair to say and it seems easy for someone (like me) with no commitments. But at what point do we realise that it’s not okay?

Sometimes we’ve just got to squeeze in a bit of time to do what it is we gotta do. Be it to write a quick blog post, wash your car, go out to buy milk, catch up with a friend, take a holiday, even send a text message. I don’t believe anyone is ever too busy to send a quick text message (especially those who are constantly on their phones).

Okay I believe I am done rambling. I’m glad this blogpost has come together! I had no idea what I wanted to write actually but heh, I guess making time to ramble about making time is the story for today.

Make time, squeeze it into your schedule. There are 24 hours in a day, you can do wonders!

Okay it’s time for the next activity on the agenda: quick lunch.
